Funny how call-outs can make you see what you’d usually glaze over, like a magic eye puzzle without the headache. I am McLuvin NYT blogger Christoph Neimann’s I LEGO N.Y. piece, replete with staple New York-ities from scallion cream cheese (my fave when i was there — most bagels taste like shit here) to the Gowanus Canal (that i could smell from the window one of my old apartments).
It kind of makes me nostalgic about the best city in the world, but then I look outside and am reminded that it’s 70 and sunny here in SF.
